Growing up in the architecture world, brick and mortar businesses were a staple in my industry. From commercial office space to retail stores to bars and restaurants. It seemed like these businesses would live forever. Then Covid-19 entered the equation and things went topsy-turvy.

Businesses which required employees to come into the office eventually realized employees could work from home. Many sit-down restaurants adapted and started offering online ordering & curbside pickup. Even some bars were allowed to offer drinks to go. We all got comfortable with video calls whether we liked it or not.
